I am Güimel, but my friends call me Mel. I make acrylic paintings on canvas, mixed media illustrations, and fine art prints.
I am a self-taught visual artist & Art therapy practitioner. In the past, I have studied industrial design, visual communication design, and photography. All this has contributed in a very positive way to the development of my career and current art business.
I identify myself with the semi-abstract and botanical style. I appreciate the beauty of details and enjoy creating unique pieces. They follow the line of harmony and a sense of connection.
As an artist, I use my creativity to help others. With every sale, a part of the proceeds goes towards supporting a non-governmental organization.
This NGO is dedicated to preventing and eradicating any violence against women and girls.
